We couldn’t be happier with our experience with 3R Dachshunds and, most of all, with Laura. From the very beginning, Laura has been incredibly sweet, caring, and dedicated. It’s clear that she puts 100% of her heart and effort into everything she does, and that love and dedication truly shows in her puppies.
Our 1½-year-old mini wire-haired dachshund, Poppy, has brought so much joy to our family. She is incredibly sweet, full of personality, and keeps us laughing with her many antics. We feel so fortunate to have her and are grateful to Laura for raising such a wonderful puppy.
One of the things we appreciate most is that our relationship with Laura didn’t end when we brought Poppy home. We’ve genuinely enjoyed staying in touch with her and sharing updates about Poppy as she grows. It means so much to know that she truly cares about the puppies she places and the families who love them.

Laura is a very ethical breeder and raises her puppies with great socialization and love. We got our sweet Zelda from her two years ago. She is a mini wire—beautiful, healthy, smart, and the most loving dog I have ever lived with.

Our experience purchasing a dachshund from 3R Dachshunds was wonderful. We especially appreciated Laura’s willingness to let us come pick out our puppy before weaning. With all the scammers on Facebook these days, that meant a lot to us.
The pickup process was easy and smooth, and Laura answered every question. Although we were experienced dachshund owners, it had been a long time since we had a puppy.

Reece
What can I say about the absolute best black and tan wire-haired dachshund in the world? I am so grateful that I found Laura and Reece. I was looking for the perfect little companion to fill a hole in my heart, and Reece smoothly transitioned into both my heart and my home.
When I brought Reece home, I still had my aging Great Dane, Roux, and the two of them were precious together. Reece has never met a dog he did not like or a person he did not adore. He simply believes everyone loves him! He is wonderful with children and especially loves my elderly mother and all her friends at the retirement home where she lives. He fits in perfectly wherever he goes, and he goes everywhere with me.
Reece will be four years old in a few months, and I have not had any health issues with him, other than having to brush those stinky dachshund teeth! I cannot say enough about how much love he has brought into my life.
Laura did an amazing job socializing Reece before he came home. He is comfortable in the car, wonderful with people, and happy to join me in whatever activity we have planned. Laura was also incredible to work with and patiently answered my endless questions before, during, and after I brought Reece home.
Right now, Reece and I have our hands full with our busy little life, but when we are ready to add another family member to our hearts and home, we will absolutely be calling Laura.
